finally i'm back to my home sweet home! AND I SURVIVED CAMP SURVIVOR which was from thurs to today ( sunday). and 4 days 3 nights church camp. and a really sick camp! well as u know it's survivor camp...
day one
headed to church at 9.30 to meet the rest of the survivors there. on the way to the camp site, we had to find stuff on the list like 5 strands of dark brown hair and so on... once done, we took a public bus to hougang and that's where our camp site was, the CAYC. day one was quite dry cause it's all intro, self reflection, group sharing and activites where we go stations after stations to find clues. very like survivor... at night we had to search for a list of things too but without a torch light. damn difficult to see! the activities for the day ended like 10 plus. that's for day one.
the good thing about this camp, there were aircons to sleep with and the meals are super nice!! it's the best food i ever had for camps! others camps that i attended were like jail food! for this camp, the food were luxurious. spaghetti for lunch and dinner was curry!
day two
day two was the most disgusting day in the whole of the 4 days. went out to bukit timah for some activities. wont go into detail cause it's way to disgusting. but just to enlighten you for day two, there was one station made by mark the facil where we had to lie on mats that he laid and he poured expired milk with water, flour and crushed oreos. so our job was to lie and roll till our shirts are soaked with those. it's complete sick! u wont want to wash ur shirts when u reached the camp site after completing all the other stations. most of them threw their clothes away. so we were advised not to wear our favourite shirts and we couldnt bath only when everything is done and so we had to stick to that shirt on our body till we reached the camp site and that was about evening. meals for the afternoon was nasi lemak! yumyum! fri is no meat day so we had that.
day three
we are out for dragon boating at kallang, after which headed to town for another activity. had to trade a paper with a total stranger. there was only one object that we like! but it was gone as danica wanted to trade more and there's goes my fluffy pen! for dinner, western food! mash potatoes with chicken and wedges! cool! after dinner was praise and worship session! it was awesome!
